Blockcutters

These tools are about half the length of the blades in our London Pattern and are sometimes called American Palm Cutting Tools. The short blade and “mushroom” handle makes them easier to control, so they are ideal for small or delicate work. We now offer these individually or in 7 sets of blockcutters with a total of 31 tools. These include our popular 1/16″ 60 degree ‘V’ tools and the 1/16″ 45 degree ‘V’ tools which are perfect for details on bird and animal carving such as feathers and fur.

Our block cutters are made from the same high carbon steel and to the same high standard as our full size tools and come supplied honed ready to use.
